Ken Southerland – President and CEO

Ken leads Insource Performance Solutions as its President and CEO. He is an experienced business leader with a strong global track record in diverse industries and economic environments. Ken brings to Insource over 20 years of experience with a rich background of global supply chain design, implementation and management.

Living in Singapore for over 9 years, Ken led the Asia Pacific region for a leading global supply chain management company. While in Asia, he and his teams started up and managed production and distribution operations in Taiwan, China, Malaysia, Japan and Korea, sourcing components from around the world, adding value to these components and shipping finished product to customers all over the world. Ken's experience with low cost labor and high quality workforce solutions positions him well to create similar solutions in the United States.

Ken graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Industrial Management after two successful years at the Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina. He is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and Vistage, the world’s largest CEO organization.

Jeff Larkin - Chief Operations Officer

Jeff’s leadership experience as both a supply chain consultant and retail supply chain executive provide him the wisdom to balance theoretical best practices with hands on execution. Jeff’s consulting experience includes assignments primarily focused on operational excellence, strategic planning, and warehouse design. Some of Jeff’s consulting engagements have included Neiman Marcus, The Home Depot, Nautica Clothing Company, Bergen Brunswig Drug Company, Kay Bee Toys, Williams-Sonoma, Books•A•Million, and May Department Stores.

Jeff’s “shop floor” management experience was primarily earned during his tenure at Williams-Sonoma. After two years of consulting assignments, Jeff joined their supply chain leadership team. During the next five years of rapid growth, Jeff provided leadership excellence and execution in many areas of the company. The supply chain leadership team supported revenue growth from $811M in sales to $2.8B in sales; store’s serviced increased from 240 to 500; annual outbound packages shipped increased from 8.6M to 19M; design, construction, and staffing of 3.1M additional square feet of operations; implementation of a new WMS system; and a national furniture home delivery network that successfully completed 450K white glove home deliveries for Pottery Barn. Through the diligent implementation of best practices throughout the organization, the supply chain team realized $62M in operational savings during the final two years of tenure on a $610M spend. Jeff received his Industrial and Systems Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia.

Mark Fitzpatrick – Vice President of Performance Engineering

Mark is the Vice President of Performance Engineering, responsible for process enhancements across Insource’s entire customer lifecycle. Most recently, Mr. Fitzpatrick served as a Senior Lean Corporate Consultant for Dell Computer, leading the lean transformation in their manufacturing organization. Prior to Dell, Mr. Fitzpatrick was with Sigma Breakthrough Technologies Inc. (SBTI), a professional services firm specializing in Lean and Six Sigma deployments. While at SBTI, Mr. Fitzpatrick led more than 50 Kaizen events with Fortune 500 clients. Earlier in his career, Mr. Fitzpatrick spent 6 years in various roles at Intel Corporation, working in new product introduction, account management, and process engineering. Mr. Fitzpatrick holds a Bachelors of Science and a Masters in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University.

Joseph Mills - Director of Human Resources

Joseph is a dynamic Sr. Human resources professional who has many years of HR experience leading strategic operations. He has been responsible for driving innovative corporate-wide human resource initiatives and best practices for multiple manufacturing facilities, warehouses and sales offices throughout the USA. Joseph also has extensive experience in manufacturing operations including front-line management. He is a native of Rock Hill, SC and a graduate of Hampton University. Joseph joined the Insource team in 2010 and is committed to providing creative HR strategies that further enhance our ability to provide quality solutions to our customers.

Liz Stewart - Director of Finance

Liz has been with Insource for over 5 years and is responsible for leading our Accounting Team and IT Systems. Ms. Stewart earned an MBA from the University of Dayton and a BS in Accounting from Central Michigan University. After graduating, she joined the accounting department at General Motors in Detroit. During the ten years she worked for GM Liz held a variety of accounting positions including accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, accounts receivable as well as supervisor of budgets and operations analysis. Additionally, Liz has worked in accounting management with various non-profit organizations.
